Messages

How to view and search your message history.

The Messages page shows every text message your flows have received. You can search, filter, and view the details of any message.

Viewing your messages

  1. Click Messages in the navigation bar.
  2. You'll see a table with all your incoming messages, newest first.

Each row shows:

  • From: The phone number that sent the message.
  • Message: A preview of the message text.
  • Flow: Which flow received this message. Click the flow name to go to that flow's detail page.
  • Received: When the message arrived.

Click on any message row to see the full details.

Searching messages

Use the search bar at the top of the page to find specific messages.

  1. Type in the search box. You can search by:
    • Message content (the text of the message)
    • Sender phone number
  2. Results update automatically as you type.

Filtering by flow

If you have multiple flows, you can filter messages to show only one flow at a time.

  1. Click the All Flows dropdown next to the search bar.
  2. Select the flow you want to see.
  3. The table updates to show only messages from that flow.

To see all messages again, select All Flows from the dropdown.

Combining search and filter

You can use both search and the flow filter at the same time. For example, you could search for "verification" and filter to a specific flow to find verification codes received on that number.

When filters are active, you'll see a summary like: "Found 3 message(s) matching 'verification' in My Flow."

Clearing filters

Click the Clear filters button to reset everything and show all messages.

Browsing pages

If you have a lot of messages, they're split across multiple pages. Use the page numbers or Previous/Next buttons at the bottom to move between pages. You'll also see "Showing X to Y of Z messages" to know where you are.

Messages on the flow detail page

You can also see messages for a specific flow on its detail page. Go to Flows, click a flow, and scroll down to Message History. This shows the most recent messages for just that flow, with a link to view all messages.

Important notes

  • All messages are stored, even if they didn't match a message filter. The filter only controls whether messages get forwarded, not whether they're recorded.
  • Messages show the original sender's phone number, so you always know who sent the text.
